Beginning Horsemanship Clinic
For those individuals that want to learn more control and how to ride better. "The Program by Carl Wood" will help teach you how to use your body to signal the horse what to do. Just because you have been riding all your life, it doesn't mean that there aren't a few things you might have left out. This is the best clinic to learn where your holes are and how to correct them. For young horses: Now you have him broke, where do you go from there? Using "The Program by Carl Wood", you will learn how to get the most out of your young horse without blowing his mind. [Calendar]

Colt Starting Clinic
There is going to be a colt starting clinic May 10th and 11th. This is a serious clinic for those who really want to start their own or their clients' horses. We will take five 2 year olds that have not been ridden but just halter broke, and lead you through all the steps that we go through here at Doubletree. Carl will show you his methods that have been developed over many years. No two horses are alike, so different approaches are needed for each, with the same goal in mind. If you have a two year old that is trainable, halter broke, has some manners, and has not been ridden and wish to have it in the clinic please contact Carl. The owners will also be included in the training. The charge to those providing horses will be $150. Spectators will be $80. Lunch will be provided in the cost both days.  Advanced registration is necessary.

Cutting Clinic
Learn the basics and introduce novice horses to the cows. Learn the four corners, herd entry, cut from the herd, and how to choose your cows. Little talk and lots of action! Space is limited, call today to reserve your spot.
